Why I stopped waiting and started The Hollow

I’ve spent years watching the trends, studying the brands that do it best and working behind the scenes on creative projects that build real connection. Branding, design, storytelling it’s the part of my 9-to-5 job that I’m obsessed with. It’s where I light up.

Over time, I found myself pulling harder toward the creative side. The logos. The merch. The identity that makes you feel like you’re part of something. I’ve always believed the best brands aren’t just selling products they’re telling a story you want to be part of.

I’m also a bit of a creative trends nerd (I even put together a presentation on what’s shaping the next wave). Watching how brands evolve what works, what doesn’t made me realize something: It’s not just about the product. It’s about trust, meaning, belonging.

And frankly? When I started ordering custom apparel for local teams and groups, it didn’t feel like anyone was thinking that way.

The product quality was fine. The service? Not so much. Long delays, zero communication, missed deadlines the whole thing felt broken.

So I decided to stop waiting for someone else to fix it. That’s how The Hollow started: A small, local apparel company built around better service, better design, better connection.

We’re about:

  • Lower pricing — because you shouldn't overpay for basics.
  • Faster turnaround — because you actually have a deadline.
  • Local pickup or delivery — because shipping drama is the worst.
  • Free design help — because even rough ideas deserve to look good.

We’re starting with custom gear for schools, teams and clubs — but the heart of The Hollow is bigger than that. It’s about building something real. Something that feels personal. Something that makes you proud to wear it.

Thanks for being part of the start.
